The Hands-On Method

Measure Your Finger

Use a flexible measuring tape or a length of string to determine your ring size:

  1. Wrap - Gently wrap the tape or string around the finger where your ring will be worn.
  2. Mark - If using string, mark the point where the ends meet.
  3. Measure - Lay the string flat and measure the length in millimetres.
  4. Compare - Match your measurement to our size chart to determine your ring size.
  5. Adjust - If you are between sizes, we recommend selecting the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Measuring Tips

Both our ring size gauge and downloadable size chart are the most highly accurate home measurement methods. However, there are some things you might need to consider before measuring your ring finger at home.

Measure hands at natural temperature

Fingers shrink by up to half a size in the cold and expand when warm. For the most accurate reading, measure in the evening when your fingers are at their largest.

Consider your Knuckles

If you have larger knuckles, ensure the ring can slide over them without feeling too loose at the base of your finger. If you're between sizes, opt for the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

Consider band width

Wider bands sit more snugly on the finger, so consider sizing up for a comfortable fit.

multiple measurements

Measure your chosen finger 3 or 4 times throughout the day and take the average measurement as your true size, rounding up to the nearest millimeter. If in doubt, choosing a slightly larger size is usually the safest option.

size up

If you're between sizes and in doubt, choose the larger size to ensure a better fit.
