The Hands-On Method
Measure Your Finger
Use a flexible tape or a length of string to measure your size at home:
- Wrap – Gently wrap around the finger where your ring will be worn.
- Mark – If using string, mark the point where the ends meet.
- Measure – Lay flat and measure in millimetres.
- Compare – Match your measurement to our size chart.
- Adjust – If between sizes, choose the larger for a more comfortable fit..
For the most accurate fit
Even small details can influence your ring size. To ensure the most reliable measurement at home, keep these simple considerations in mind.
Measure at natural temperature
Fingers contract in the cold and expand when warm. For accuracy, measure in the evening when your fingers are at their largest.
Consider your Knuckles
If your knuckles are larger, ensure the ring can slide over them while still fitting comfortably at the base of your finger.
Allow for band width
Wider bands sit more snugly. Consider sizing up for comfort.
Take multiple measurements
Measure 3–4 times throughout the day and use the average, rounded to the nearest millimetre.
When in doubt, size up
A slightly larger fit is usually more comfortable and ensures the ring can be worn with ease.
Our conversion charts allow you to compare ring sizes across the UK, US, and European standards.
